Entering Ford Field on Thursday with a 4-6 record, the Packers, who have emerged victorious in two of their last three games, dominated the first half against the Lions (8-2) and established a 23-6 lead by halftime. Quarterback Jordan Love delivered an exceptional performance in the initial 30 minutes, completing 15 of 20 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
The Lions, with an 8-2 record for the first time since 1962 following their recent triumph against the Chicago Bears, faced their annual Thanksgiving Day challenge, marked by a history of six consecutive losses on this occasion.
